Carpenter - Contract Position in Greenland



We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in Greenland. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and be proficient in using various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, doors, etc.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Cut and shape materials to fit specifications
- Inspect structures to ensure they meet building codes and safety standards
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical dexterity and strength
- Able to work independently
- Own visa preferred
- Suitable for male candidates
