Personal Trainer


A fitness center in Faro is seeking a qualified and experienced Personal Trainer to join our team. This position offers a competitive salary of 1600$ per month, as well as accommodation and visa sponsorship for non-residents of Portugal.

As a Personal Trainer, you will work one-on-one with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals. This includes creating personalized workout plans, providing nutrition advice, and motivating clients to stay on track. You will also lead group fitness classes and assist with gym operations.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a certification in personal training and at least 2 years of experience working in the fitness industry. We are looking for someone who is energetic, passionate about health and fitness, and able to effectively communicate with clients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments with new clients to determine their fitness level and goals
- Design customized workout plans based on client's goals, abilities, and any existing medical conditions
- Provide guidance on proper form, technique, and use of equipment during training sessions
- Educate clients on healthy eating habits and provide nutrition advice
- Lead group fitness classes such as HIIT, yoga, or spin
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym floor
- Assist with membership sales and retention efforts

Requirements:
- Certification in personal training from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of experience working as a personal trainer or in the fitness industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, and nutrition principles
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients to reach their goals
- Basic computer skills for maintaining client records
