Junior Land Surveyor

As a Junior Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting with the collection and analysis of land data to support various projects in the city of Herning. Your role will involve using specialized equipment and software to measure and map land features, as well as conducting research and interpreting data for accuracy. You will work closely with experienced surveyors and project managers to ensure the timely completion of surveys and provide support in preparing reports and documents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with performing field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other equipment.
- Collect and analyze data on land features such as boundaries, elevation, and topography.
- Conduct research to gather information on land records, property ownership, and legal descriptions.
- Interpret survey data to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Prepare maps, charts, and reports to present survey results.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan survey assignments and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition by performing regular maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures while working in the field.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in land surveying or related field preferred.
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one is required.
- Prior experience in land surveying is not required but preferred.
- Proficiency in using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Physically fit to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
