Data-mining Specialist


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data-mining Specialist to join our team in Akron. As a Data-mining Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends, and extracting relevant information to support business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex data sets.

Responsibilities:
- Collect large amounts of data from various sources
- Clean and organize data to ensure accuracy
- Analyze data using statistical methods and software
- Identify patterns, trends, and insights from the data
- Create reports and visualizations to present findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights for decision-making
- Develop strategies for optimizing data collection and analysis processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience in data-mining or related field
- Proficient in Excel, SQL, and statistical analysis tools
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus

Salary: 1400$ per month

Location: Akron (Indians preferred)
