Office Assistant in Bungoma, Kenya
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Office Assistant to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily business activities.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or take messages
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing it to the correct recipients
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Schedule appointments and meetings for office staff
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and record keeping
- Keep the office clean and organized at all times
Requirements:
- Must be a Pakistani national currently residing in Bungoma, Kenya or willing to relocate
- Ability to communicate fluently in English is preferred but not required
- Prior experience as an office assistant or in a similar role is a plus but not required
- Must have a valid biometric passport or be willing to obtain one before starting work
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week)
