We are currently hiring for a skilled and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a busy restaurant in Herning, Denmark. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$, and accommodation will not be provided.

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests. Your main duties will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that the dining area is clean and well-maintained. You will also be responsible for handling payments and maintaining accurate records.

To excel in this role, you should have prior experience as a waiter/waitress and possess excellent communication skills. You should also be able to work well under pressure and have a friendly and outgoing personality. Knowledge of different types of cuisine and wine is preferred.

The ideal candidate will also have strong multitasking abilities and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You should also have the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers warmly upon their arrival
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked
- Take accurate food orders from customers
- Serve food and beverages according to established standards
- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure their satisfaction
- Handle complaints or concerns with professionalism
- Process payments using cash or credit cards
- Maintain clean dining areas by clearing tables, refilling condiments, etc.
- Follow all safety procedures regarding food handling
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a waiter/waitress or similar role
- Excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of different types of cuisine and wine preferred
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
