Entry Level Web Designer

We are searching for a creative and detail-oriented Entry Level Web Designer to join our team in Almada. As an Entry Level Web Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of websites and web applications. This is a contract position, ideal for someone without prior experience in the field, but with a passion for web design and a willingness to learn. This is not a remote position and does not include accommodation or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of websites and web applications
- Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs
- Use industry standard software to create wireframes, layouts, and graphics
- Ensure that all designs are optimized for various devices and browsers
- Stay updated on current design trends, techniques, and technologies
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in graphic design or related field is a plus
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other design software
- Strong eye for detail and ability to produce high-quality designs within tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with web design or related field is a plus
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
- Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken)

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1100$ per month.
