Information Security Analyst



We are hiring an Information Security Analyst to join our team in the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles, practices, and technologies. They will be responsible for safeguarding our company's computer networks and systems from potential threats and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor network activity and implement security measures to protect against potential threats
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices to ensure our systems are secure
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner, investigate root causes, and implement solutions
- Conduct training sessions for employees on information security awareness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or other relevant certifications such as CISM or CISA
- Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g. healthcare, finance)
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of incident response procedures

We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this position. This is a full-time role with standard working hours from Monday to Friday. While accommodation is not provided by the company, we are happy to assist with finding suitable housing options.
