Instrument Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Oslo. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments used in industrial processes. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and transmitters.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of instruments.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with instruments or control systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to design new instrumentation systems.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree in instrumentation preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with a variety of instruments and control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Salary: $1500 per month (part-time)
