Data Analyst

We are hiring a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team in Faroe-Islands. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical and statistical skills, as well as experience working with data analysis tools and databases. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends and insights that will drive business decisions. You will also be responsible for creating reports and visualizations to present your findings to stakeholders. A biometric passport is required for this role. This is a part-time position without accommodation provided. Salary is $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets using data analysis tools
- Identifying trends and patterns in the data to inform business decisions
- Creating reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs
- Developing strategies for data collection, cleaning, and analysis
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Communicating complex findings in a clear and concise manner

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, R or Python
- Experience working with databases (e.g. MySQL)
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques (e.g. Tableau)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Biometric passport required
