Part-time Sous Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-time Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in Esbjerg. In this role, you will assist the Head Chef in creating and executing delicious and high-quality dishes for our guests. As a student, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional kitchen setting while also balancing your studies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed
- Monitor food quality and presentation before it is served
- Collaborate with other team members to create new menu items
- Help with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in culinary or hospitality program (preferred)
- Prior experience working in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to learn from experienced chefs and take on new challenges
