Radio Technician - Svalbard


We are hiring a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Svalbard. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment in accordance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and amplifiers
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on radio systems
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise and provide prompt solutions
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and technologies in the field of radio communication
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radio Technician or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of radio frequencies, transmission lines, antennas, and other related equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation
