Finisher (Woodworking)

The Finisher will be responsible for applying finishing touches to wooden furniture and other wood products. This position requires attention to detail, precision, and a strong understanding of woodworking techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience with various finishing methods, including staining, sanding, and polishing. This role is based in Almada and offers a salary of 1100$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply stains, dyes, and finishes to wooden furniture and other wood products
- Sand surfaces to smooth out imperfections
- Use various tools such as sandpaper, brushes, or spray guns to apply finishes
- Ensure quality standards are met by inspecting finished products for flaws or defects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment when necessary

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Finisher or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of wood finishing techniques and tools
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Own visa or eligibility to work in Almada

Preferred:
- Vocational training in woodworking or related field
- Experience with different types of wood finishes
- Fluency in Portuguese
