Back-End Developer - Braga, Portugal


We are seeking a talented and motivated Back-End Developer to join our team in Braga. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic of our web applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our applications, while also collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side code for web applications.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
- Implement data storage solutions using databases such as MySQL or MongoDB.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility by adhering to best practices in coding and development.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified through testing.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Back-End Developer.
- Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP.
- Experience working with databases like MySQL or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with front-end languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
