Information Security Analyst

A leading technology company in Herning is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, risk assessment, and compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g. GDPR)
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in information security analysis or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (e.g. TCP/IP), firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001) and industry standards (e.g. NIST)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: Competitive salary of 1800$ per month with additional benefits including accommodation.

Location: This is an onsite position in Herning, Denmark. Candidates from other nationalities are welcome to apply but must be willing to relocate.
