Entry-Level Glazier in Alta, Canada


We have an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Glazier to join our team in Alta, Canada. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for cutting, installing, and repairing glass and other materials used in windows, doors, and other structures. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to start their career as a Glazier and has a passion for working with their hands.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to specified size and shape using tools such as cutters and drills
- Install glass panes into frames or sashes using clips, moldings or other methods
- Secure glass in position using putty, screws or bolts
- Repair or replace damaged or broken glass
- Remove any old or broken glass from frames before installing new panes
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine the type of glass needed for each job
- Operate power tools and equipment safely

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Glazier is not required but would be considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if required
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
