Housekeeping Manager - Umm-Said, Qatar



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping operations at our resort in Umm-Said, Qatar. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are always clean, well-maintained, and presented to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of housekeeping staff and ensure they are trained on proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned daily according to established standards
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and place orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and identify areas for improvement
- Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a timely manner
- Maintain records of housekeeping expenses and adhere to budget guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments such as Front Office and Engineering to coordinate room maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalee candidates preferred)
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in housekeeping operations
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
