Merchandising Coordinator


As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the merchandising process for our company in Salalah. You will work closely with the merchandising team to ensure that all products are displayed and advertised in an attractive and appealing manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, analyzing sales data, and making recommendations for product ordering. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our merchandising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the merchandising team to plan and execute product displays and promotions
- Analyze sales data to determine product demand and make recommendations for ordering
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of products
- Create attractive displays that highlight key features of products
- Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and maintain relationships
- Monitor competitor activities and make recommendations for improvement
- Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and promotional activities
- Train and supervise merchandising staff to ensure quality standards are met
- Stay updated on industry trends to make informed decisions about product selection
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or consumer goods industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail with a creative eye for product presentation
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of biometric passport systems is preferred
- Preference given to candidates with experience working with Indian markets or Indian products
