Head Baker - Vianden, Luxembourg


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our bakery team in Vianden, Luxembourg. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of a wide variety of baked goods, ensuring quality and consistency in every product. Your main duties will include creating new recipes, managing inventory and ordering supplies, training and supervising other bakers, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a baker in a commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create new recipes and adapt existing ones to meet customer demands
- Experience managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience training and supervising other bakers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Must be eligible for work visa sponsorship in Luxembourg

Responsibilities:
- Create new recipes for baked goods based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee the production process to ensure all products meet quality standards
- Train new bakers on proper techniques and procedures
- Supervise the work of other bakers to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Monitor baking equipment for proper functioning and report any issues or maintenance needs
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of products
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines
