Indian Executive Chef in Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking an experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Nairobi, Kenya. As the head chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the menu, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the quality and consistency of all dishes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine and a strong background in fine dining.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and design menus that showcase authentic Indian flavors while also catering to dietary restrictions
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or menu promotions

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards for all dishes served
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1100 per month.
