Carpenter Supervisor

We are a construction company based in Nairobi, seeking an experienced Carpenter Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. The ideal candidate will be an Indian national with at least 5 years of experience in carpentry and fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of carpenters in various construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate work activities according to project timelines
- Ensure safety measures are followed on site at all times
- Train and mentor junior carpenters to improve their skills and techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed
- Communicate with clients to address any concerns or requests

Requirements:
- Indian national preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry, preferably in a supervisory role
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures on construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
