Junior Accountant


Our accounting firm in Kaunas is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will support our senior accountants in managing financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with tax returns for our clients. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior accountants with day-to-day accounting tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports
- Process invoices and payments
- Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Participate in training and development opportunities to expand knowledge and skills

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP, etc.)
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Kaunas, Lithuania. We welcome applicants of all nationalities who are able to work legally in Lithuania.

Contract Type:
This is a full-time contract position.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. Applicants should have their own housing arrangements in place.

Experience Level:
This is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or candidates with less than 2 years of experience. We welcome applications from freshers who are eager to learn and grow in the field of accounting.

Language Requirements:
