Handyman for Property Maintenance in St. Petersburg

Our property management company in St. Petersburg is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in property maintenance and repairs, as well as knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing fixtures, and replacing light bulbs
- Conduct inspections of properties to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Install new appliances, fixtures, and equipment as needed
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies for maintenance tasks
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to company standards
- Communicate with tenants to schedule maintenance appointments and address any concerns or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in property maintenance or similar field
- Strong knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Ability to read blueprints and diagrams for repairs and installations
- Good communication skills with ability to interact with tenants professionally
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if needed

Salary: $1500 per month
