Salary: $1700 per month


We are seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Wiltz, Luxembourg. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, while ensuring they meet modern building codes and standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historical buildings and structures to understand their original design, construction methods, and materials
- Develop preservation plans and strategies that comply with building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the preservation process is carried out effectively
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for restoration work
- Monitor the progress of restoration projects to ensure they stay within budget and timeline
- Inspect completed restoration work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Provide guidance on sustainable preservation practices to minimize environmental impact
- Educate clients on the importance of preserving historical buildings for cultural significance and economic benefits

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in preservation architecture with a strong portfolio of historic preservation projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to historic preservation
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset
