Preservation Architect

We are searching for a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Wiltz. In this role, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while ensuring they meet modern safety and functionality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical structures to determine necessary preservation or restoration work
- Develop preservation plans and strategies, taking into account historical significance, architectural style, and structural condition
- Collaborate with construction teams to implement preservation or restoration work according to plans
- Oversee the use of appropriate materials and techniques to maintain the authenticity of the structure
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Research and stay updated on preservation techniques, materials, and technologies
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities regarding the project progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and historic preservation guidelines
- Excellent project management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to think creatively
- Strong communication skills
