Entry-Level Plumber

We are hiring an Entry-Level Plumber to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$, suitable for English speaking individuals without prior experience. The selected candidate will also be provided with accommodation.

As an Entry-Level Plumber, you will be responsible for assisting experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. Your duties will include reading blueprints and schematics, cutting and threading pipes, and assembling and installing pipes and fixtures. You will also be expected to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the installation or repair process.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong interest in plumbing and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals. A basic understanding of plumbing tools and equipment is preferred but not required. Physical strength and stamina are necessary for this position as it involves working in various locations, often in confined spaces.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine layout of pipes
- Cut, thread, bend, solder or glue pipes as needed
- Assemble pipes and fittings according to specifications
- Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, etc.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during installation or repair
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes
