Barber/Barberette

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber/Barberette to join our team at a busy salon in Jerusalem. As a barber, you will be responsible for providing excellent hair cutting, shaving, and grooming services to our diverse clientele. This position is open to both Indians and Canadians who have a passion for the art of barbering.

Key responsibilities:
- Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Listen to clients' requests and provide recommendations based on their hair type and desired style
- Perform various hair cutting techniques, including fades, trims, and razor cuts
- Shave and style facial hair according to client's preferences
- Keep work area clean and sanitized at all times
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and techniques in the barbering industry
- Upsell products and services offered by the salon

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a barber/barberette
- Proficiency in using barbering tools such as clippers, scissors, razors, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen to clients' requests
- Knowledge of different hair types and textures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (additional knowledge of Hebrew is an advantage)
- Must currently reside in Jerusalem or willing to relocate at own expense

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation is not provided for this role.
