Project Manager for International Development Projects in St. Petersburg, Egypt
As a Project Manager for International Development Projects in St. Petersburg, Egypt, you will be responsible for planning and managing the execution of various projects aimed at promoting economic and social development in Egypt. You will work closely with local government agencies, international organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of these projects. Your main duties will include developing project plans, coordinating project activities, monitoring progress and performance, and reporting to senior management.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in project management and experience working on international development projects. You must possess excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams from different backgrounds. Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans according to the objectives and requirements of each project
- Coordinate project activities with all relevant stakeholders
- Monitor progress and performance against established metrics
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Report regularly to senior management on project status and issues
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
- Build relationships with local government agencies, international organizations, and other partners
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively
- Facilitate knowledge sharing among team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as International Development or Business Administration
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the field of international development
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile) is preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse teams from different backgrounds
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
