IT Support Specialist


As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to computer users. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and maintaining computer systems, and training users on new technologies. You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the company's network systems, ensuring their smooth operation and quick resolution of any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to computer users via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions
- Install, maintain, and upgrade computer systems (hardware and software)
- Train users on new technologies or software applications as needed
- Monitor network systems to ensure their smooth operation
- Identify and resolve any network or system related issues in a timely manner
- Work closely with other IT team members to implement new technologies or upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities using ticketing system
- Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:
- Experience working in a technical support role (1-3 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues quickly
- Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN/WAN) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: Akron, Ohio (Indian nationals preferred)
