Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing, payments, and collections
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger records
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Track and monitor expenses to ensure they are within budget
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Conduct monthly inventory checks and assist with inventory management
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
- Comply with all relevant financial regulations and standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role (fresh graduates may be considered)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Excel, QuickBooks, or other accounting software is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi is a plus)
- Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel
