Junior Accountant

Our accounting firm in Al-Rayyan is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an English-speaking individual looking to start their career in the accounting field. We welcome foreigners and provide visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, data entry, and invoice processing
- Prepare financial reports and statements under the guidance of senior accountants
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and tax calculations
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and answer any inquiries

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Previous experience is not required but candidates with internships or relevant coursework will be given preference
