Executive Chef
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Mombasa. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and creating new dishes, as well as strong leadership skills to manage our kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that align with our restaurant's concept and customer preferences
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently produced
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to maintain stock levels
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure food safety standards are met
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new seasonal menus or specials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen operation
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines for food costs
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or sous chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high food quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $1400/monthly
