Head Chef
We are in search of an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Lusail. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating high-quality dishes and providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, including menu planning, ordering ingredients, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and appeal to our target audience
- Manage inventory and order ingredients while maintaining cost control
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food production
- Monitor food production to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop new menu items or promotions
- Conduct regular performance reviews with kitchen staff to provide feedback and address any issues
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and food safety standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in Hindi is a plus)
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
