Facade Engineer

As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and constructing the exterior facades of buildings. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that the facade is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and structurally sound. This role requires a strong understanding of building materials and construction methods, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and evaluating facade systems using various materials such as glass, metal, stone, and concrete
- Conducting structural analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of the facade
- Collaborating with architects to develop design concepts that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements
- Preparing detailed drawings and specifications for construction
- Inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with design plans
- Identifying potential issues or challenges during construction and providing solutions
- Communicating with clients, contractors, and other team members to provide progress updates and address any concerns
- Keeping up-to-date with industry developments in facade design and construction methods

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facade engineering or a similar role
- Strong understanding of building materials, structural analysis, and construction methods
- Proficient in CAD software for drafting and design purposes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Willingness to travel for site visits

Salary: 1200$ per month
