Instrument Technician
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining and calibrating various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This includes troubleshooting issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring proper functioning of all instruments. You will also be required to document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, as well as experience working with various types of instruments. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with instruments
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on all instruments
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records
- Identify potential problems and recommend solutions to improve efficiency
- Work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of all equipment
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Instrumentation or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Experience working with various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, etc.
- Knowledge of PLC systems is preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
Salary: 1400$ per month
Location: Ar Rumaythiyah, Kuwait
