Merchandiser (Mombasa, Kenya)


As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for promoting and selling products to customers in retail stores. Your main goal will be to increase sales and create a positive customer experience by ensuring that products are attractively displayed and well-stocked. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with store managers and replenishing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell products to customers in retail stores
- Ensure that products are attractively displayed and well-stocked
- Maintain relationships with store managers to ensure product placement and promotion
- Replenish inventory as needed
- Monitor sales trends, customer preferences, and competitors' activities
- Provide feedback on product performance, customer feedback, and market trends

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles
- Ability to travel between different retail locations within the city

Salary: $1300 per month (with accommodation provided)
