Executive Chef for a Fine Dining Restaurant in Al-Rayyan, Egypt
Our upscale restaurant in Al-Rayyan, Egypt is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and ensure the highest level of culinary excellence. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for designing and executing menu offerings, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus in collaboration with management
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on food preparation and presentation techniques
- Oversee food production to ensure consistency and quality
- Create daily specials using seasonal, local ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Enforce health and safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional guest experience
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must have authorization to work in Egypt
