Welder (Contract, Muharraq, Bahrain)


We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in a contract position based in Muharraq, Bahrain. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts using high heat and specialized tools to create strong and durable structures. This is an ideal opportunity for a fresh graduate or entry-level candidate looking to gain experience in the field of welding.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together
- Clean and prepare surfaces for welding by removing dirt, grease, and other impurities
- Monitor welding processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct inspections of welded joints to identify defects or imperfections
- Maintain proper storage and handling of welding equipment and materials
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or trade school certification in welding preferred
- Previous experience in welding is an asset but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with different types of welding techniques (e.g. MIG, TIG) and tools (e.g. grinders, cutters)
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow written instructions
- Physical strength and stamina to work with heavy materials and equipment for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision under pressure

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
