Loader - Contract Position (Akron, Canada)


Our busy construction company in Akron, Canada is seeking a reliable and hardworking Loader to join our team on a contract basis. As a Loader, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load and unload materials at construction sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires experience and attention to safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate loader in a safe and efficient manner on construction sites
- Load and unload materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt onto trucks
- Transport materials to designated areas within the site
- Clean and maintain equipment regularly
- Follow all safety procedures at all times
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience operating a loader or similar heavy machinery
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with competitive hourly pay. The workload may vary depending on project needs. The candidate must be available for flexible hours including weekends if necessary. Accommodation will not be provided for this position.
