Power Engineer - Malayalees Preferred


We are seeking a skilled Power Engineer to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing power systems and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess strong technical knowledge of power engineering. This is a contract position with a salary of 900$ per month, with accommodation provided. This position is suitable for men who are fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on power systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with power systems and equipment
- Monitor power systems to ensure they are operating efficiently
- Implement safety protocols to ensure the safe operation of power systems
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot complex issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Power Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in power engineering or a similar role
- Knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diesel generators or solar panels is preferred.
- Previous experience working in the hospitality industry is a plus.
