Job Title: Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (English Speaking)


Our Indian restaurant in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations to ensure high-quality and authentic Indian dishes are consistently delivered to our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a creative and authentic menu that reflects the diversity of Indian cuisine
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and hygiene standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed while controlling costs within budget
- Implement procedures for proper storage, rotation, and utilization of food products to minimize waste
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine with experience in menu creation
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to lead a team and work well under pressure
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract job: This is a contract position with a duration of 2 years.
