Sous Chef

We are in search of a talented Sous Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in Lahore. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure that high-quality dishes are consistently produced. Responsibilities:
- Assist Head Chef in menu planning and creation of new dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure all dishes meet quality and presentation standards before being served
- Participate in hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations of kitchen staff

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained formal culinary training or have completed an apprenticeship program. The ideal candidate will also have a creative flair for developing innovative dishes while also being able to execute traditional recipes with precision.
