Seamstress - Garment Maker

We are hiring a skilled Seamstress to join our team in Nairobi. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, custom-made garments according to client specifications. This position requires precision and attention to detail, as well as excellent sewing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut fabric according to patterns and client measurements
- Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to construct garments
- Alter and adjust finished garments as needed for proper fit
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Keep up-to-date with fashion trends and techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role
- Knowledge of different fabrics, sewing techniques, and garment construction
- Ability to read patterns and follow instructions accurately
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with clients

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable)
Location: Nairobi, Kenya (Indians preferred)
Employment Type: Contract (3 months) with possibility of extension
Language Requirement: None (English proficiency is an advantage)
Experience Level: Entry-level (experience in garment making is preferred)
Other Requirements: Must have a biometric passport for identification purposes.
