Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the company. They will prepare financial statements, analyze and interpret data, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of financial reporting and budgeting. Fluency in English is required. Preference will be given to Nepali candidates or those with experience working in Nepal.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Develop budgets and forecasts
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements
- Oversee tax planning and preparation activities
- Provide guidance on financial decisions to management team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/financial management roles
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Experience with budgeting/forecasting processes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Nepali nationality or experience working in Nepal preferred
