Head Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team at our restaurant located in Muharraq. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are innovative, seasonal and reflect the restaurant's concept
- Manage inventory and food cost to ensure profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, staffing, and scheduling
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
