Mason

As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of brick, stone, and other materials. You will need to have experience in masonry and the ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans. Your duties will include laying bricks or stones, mixing mortar and plaster, smoothing and finishing surfaces, and using specialized tools and equipment. You must also have knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Constructing walls, floors, arches, chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures according to specifications
- Repairing existing structures by replacing bricks or stones that are damaged or cracked
- Creating sturdy foundations by laying bricks or stones in a specific pattern
- Mixing mortar or plaster according to instructions and applying it with precision
- Using specialized tools such as trowels, levels, chisels, hammers, saws, and scaffolding
- Ensuring that all work meets building codes and safety regulations
- Maintaining a clean work area and properly storing all equipment when not in use
- Communicating with other construction workers to coordinate tasks

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience as a Mason. You must also possess excellent physical strength and stamina as this job requires heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions. Attention to detail is crucial as even the smallest mistake can compromise the integrity of a structure.
