We are hiring a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Akron, Canada for a seasonal position. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative menus that reflect local and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all food preparation to maintain high quality and consistency
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with suppliers to source fresh, local ingredients
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a clean and organized workspace
- Create special menus for events or catering services

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of Canadian cuisine and familiarity with local ingredients
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work well under deadlines
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
