Metal Worker

Our metalworking company in Dickirch is seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Worker to join our team. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and components according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Operate various hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, saws, and welding equipment
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, tape measures, or other marking devices
- Cut, shape, bend, or straighten metal pieces using hand tools or machines
- Weld or solder parts together using various welding techniques
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient production

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Metal Worker in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools and welding equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
