Database Administrator for a Global Technology Company in Washington, United States
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Washington. As part of our global technology company, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our databases to ensure their security, efficiency, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database structures based on business requirements
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval
- Identify and troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Develop data backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate applications with databases
- Ensure data security by implementing access controls and regular backups
- Plan for future expansion of databases as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with database design, implementation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies and best practices for data security
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month. We offer free visa sponsorship and ticket for the selected candidate. Accommodation will not be provided.
