Entry Level Painter



We are hiring an Entry Level Painter to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, furniture, and structures. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start a career in painting or gain experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint or wallpaper, filling holes and cracks, and sanding rough areas
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect from paint splatters
- Repair and patch drywall as needed
- Clean and maintain painting equipment after each use
- Adhere to safety guidelines when handling paints and chemicals

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous experience in painting preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of paints and their application techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, reaching, and lifting heavy objects
- Excellent time management skills

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month. We also offer opportunities for growth within the company.
